about

Tommy Shane started out in the 90s as part of the boyband 541. In 2002, he went solo. Like every other boyband member turned soloist, his public face was almost entirely contrived. Dispite an obviously suburban upbringing, he was desperate for hip hop legitimacy, even adopting a fake ebonics accent. Thankfully for him, people often buy into this sort of lunacy. Available here is the 2010 remastering of his album, complete with two bonus tracks, but without the typical overcompression treatment. After all, this record still lives in the Nick Notis universe, where sound fidelity is king.
